Another football sketch by Edwardian cartoonist Ralph Cleaver, "The Way To Sell Papers - Football Results" depicts the increasing reliance of newspapers on the popular game. Part of a series entitled "The Humours of Football", this was published in the Pall Mall Gazette in 1907, as was the sketch below, "The Mayor Unveils a Statue of Puddleborough's Famous Forward".
